No Sign of Festive Slack as S4K FC Deliver in Season Opener

With six teams taking to the field today across different S4K territories, S4K FC was in top form for the season opener, winning 5 out of the 6 games. 
In action today were the U7 Lions, U7 Wolves, U8 Bears, U9 Wolves, U9 Eagles and a debut for the U7 Bears, who cruised to a 5-1 victory in the first ever match. 

The weather did its best to prevent, but the boys were itching to get back on the field after the Christmas break, with a chance to apply the on-field mantras they have successfully been learning. It’s these mantras that have served S4K FC so well in the past, and today’s set of results shows that that’s not likely to change this year. It’s great to see the boys doing so well, especially as some started with us when they were babies in our toddlers football classes.

S4K Under 7s Lions – 6-2 W
S4K Under 7s Wolves – 6-7 L
S4K Under 8s Bears – 5-1 W
S4K Under 9s Wolves – 5-4 W
S4K Under 9s Eagles – 9-1 W

S4K Football Club registration for the new 2017/2018 season will open in March for any players and parents who wish to join the teams!
