S4K Cricket Academy is where is gets real for kids cricket classes! Previously all the shots have been learnt, now is the time to really nail down those shots and knowing when to hit them, from hitting a forward defensive shot to a well-pitched ball, to hitting a pull shot when a short ball is sent down by the bowler.

Within the bowling structure, we can start to distinguish fast and slow bowling, spinning, where to pitch the ball.

Fielding will continue to be enhanced through drills, games to make it fun as well as competitive, this will also be a key component within the game structure.

Players will learn the cricket field of play positions from Mid-On, to Square Leg, from Long Off, to point enabling them to play and enjoy the game.

When ready, we will develop a cricket team to play in local ECB registered leagues which will then enable the Academy programme to take forward their cricket career.
