What Do Our Head Teachers Say?
The S4K Education curriculum and approach is revolutionising children’s sport across the UK. But don’t take our word for it – here are some of our head teachers discussing the different benefits of the S4K Education system in their school.
S4K Curriculum for Sport
The S4K Curriculum is the basis for ensuring that the S4K PE program is delivered consistently and professionally across all of our partners. PE has long been a subject that has not received the same level of development as literacy, maths and the sciences. S4K wanted to change that and have introduced a curriculum that ensures that every lesson structure has consistent learning objectives and transparent success criteria.

S4K Progress Monitoring
In addition to our curriculum, S4K wanted to develop a way of measuring progression within PE so that schools can provide accurate feedback to children, parents and teachers. In line with Ofsted objectives and the development of the rounded individual, the S4K Pupil Pathway provides children with rewards for PE participation and offers individual treatment plans for each pupil so that those who require greater levels of assistance and those that are gifted can attend additional S4K activities to build on their abilities.

S4K Quality Assurance
Quality assurance is a vital part of our world at S4K. Our programs are designed with curriculum and lesson plans that allow consistent and professional delivery. All of our coaches are trained through our own S4K University proprietary training, which includes dedicated studies around child behaviour management, PE teaching and the culture and interpersonal skills required to belong in a school environment. Quality assurance comes in the form of in depth audits that address the coaching team performance, but also the environment and operations within the school. A report is provided to the head teacher each term with the details of the audit and the associated actions so that we can continue identifying areas to support your school.
Let’s here from James Porter and our head teachers, who will provide more details…
