S4K Football Age Group Progression
S4K Football is available to toddlers and kids from 18 months to 14 years. Each class has a dedicated curriculum and pathway to follow on our S4K app. The app makes it easier than ever for parents and carers to keep an eye on how their child is progressing month on month. The app also houses our industry leading Practice@Home Videos. A way for your child to continue practicing away from their weekly sessions!

The S4K App is revolutionary in the world of children sport. With the S4K app, your child can practice a new skill from home every month with our Skill of The Month Practice@Home videos. You can also track your Childs progression through their classes with the use of our progression pathway, these are marked off by their coaches each week.
TOTS, Kickers & Strikers Football Videos (Ages 18m - 6yrs)
At Toddler, Kicker and Striker ages (18 Months to 6yrs), the videos begin with an imaginative episode based on the theme of the month. After this, the skill section allows for the teaching of a specific ‘skill of the month’ to the audience. The stories are adapted for each age group, tailoring learning throughout to the specific age groups. There are 4 weeks for every month’s theme, that progressively teach the skill and add more to the story and its immersion for the children

Academy Football Videos (6yrs+)
At Academy age (6yrs+), the videos turn from story based to more teachings of the skill, including the addition of teaching where and when you’d use each skill on the pitch during a a game. Each age group within the academy has a different set of skills, tailored to their ability, and each skill has 4 levels of progression. That’s over 160 individual skill videos throughout our age groups!

S4K Football Matchday Progression
We have match football for our players to enjoy from 4 and a half year olds, all the way to Under 18’s. We believe it is important for children to gain experience of team and match football from a young age, but with emphasis on the fact that the matches are non-competitive practice games.
As they get older, we begin to create teams that go on to play in local leagues, these are when the games get competitive. By the time they’re in these teams, our players should have enough experience through our football programme to be prepared for that level of football.

The SPL is an internal league hosted by S4K Coaches for Sport4Kids’ Strikers age group of players. The league is designed to offer practice matches for our Strikers players, using S4K tournament and non competitive rules, whilst in an all-inclusive fun and safe environment.
The APL is an inter-venue league hosted by our S4K Football Academy Coaches for our academy age group of players. The league is designed for players to showcase what they have learnt in their training sessions in a non competitive, practice match environment.
S4KFC is our set of teams that play in local leagues. usually players will be selected for these teams once they’ve played a season in the APL. Coaches will decide who’s ready for competitive football in local leagues, and who still needs time to develop within the APL practice match environment.
S4K Elite Squad is the only level of match football at S4K solely selected on ability. It’s for our best players at each venue, to challenge each other in a standalone elite session, and play against the very best of Pro Academy teams in the local area and beyond.
