Feeder School Relationships and Marketing

Local Feeder School Relationship Building #

For the holiday camps (also applicable to Sports/Skills Weekend classes, but we can touch on that at a later date), we’ve found that reaching out to the local “feeder” schools (essentially any primary schools within in 3-5mile radius, potentially even smaller for the London-based territories) has been a great route to market for our target demographic (parents of children aged 4-13)

Process #

The process we follow at Core is as follows;

Data Collection #

Online research to grab school detail (number, email, school contact name, any existing camp providers?)

#

Introductory phone call #

I have attached a script our team have previously used, now they have built the relationships, it’s more of an open/expectant conversation!

#

Digital Collateral send #

I’ve attached a screenshot of the usual email I would send – Completely up to you how you’d like this to work – I would send on Pete’s behalf after he updated the sheet. I have linked the CANVA file that would be relevant for Christmas if you’d prefer to reach out yourself.

Follow up in 2-3 days – If they haven’t confirmed receipt, I’ll usually follow up to check they received my email.

Repeat! #

Every camp season, you aim to build relationships with the contact that has access to the school parent newsletter! I send a lot of our contacts Free Day Vouchers around Christmas, in return some have even agreed to put up a banner on their school gates/add us to their website!
