Sport4Kids is delighted to launch tennis on 22nd March 2020 at Newbold College, Binfield where we already run football classes and holiday and half term activity camps.
Our Tots tennis classes (18 months to 3 years) will be on Sundays from 10.40am to 11.25am, followed by our Diddis tennis classes (3 years to 5 years) from 11.30am to 12.15pm.
Our S4K Tennis program is based upon researching 5 great players – Nadal, Federer, Warwinka, Djokovic and Murray – and picking up on their technical prowess in each tennis stroke. To help the children learn we break down every stroke into the mini and micro motor skills required for success. We then using the Montessori style game-based teaching and best practices from in child psychology and children’s learning to so children can acquire the relevant skills whilst having fun in a party atmosphere.
Each class has a dedicated curriculum and a Practice@Home booklet so parents can entertain their children and help them develop their skill level outside of the class.

Charlie Hodgson, the Regional Manager Director said “We’re really pleased to be able to make this incredible tennis programme available to our customers. The care and precision with which our development team have put the lessons together is absolutely mind boggling – the cartoon characters in the Practice@home book have even been drawn to reflect the techniques of the great players upon whose strokes the technical elements of the programme are based! In addition to the science bit the team have brilliantly mixed in that raw ingredient that underpins that Sport4Kids what it is – and that’s the fun factor. Sport4Kids tennis classes have already been very successful in other S4K venues and I can’t wait to see the satisfaction on the children’s faces as they make a good contact with the ball and realise they can do it. We’re really looking forward to helping the next new cohort of children to discover what they can achieve and to develop a love of tennis. Who knows – maybe the next Serena Williams or Roger Federer is somewhere in Bracknell or Warfield, waiting to be discovered?”
