Kids and Toddler Rugby Classes Launch in Crowthorne

We are excited and proud to announce that we are bringing our fantastic Sport4Kids Kids Rugby classes to Crowthorne, Berkshire! 

Our Sport4Kids children’s Rugby classes are for a variety of age groups starting as young as 18 months with our S4K Toddler Rugby classes! We have Classes launcing at Edgbarrow School Sports Complex on the 14th September, that will be running every Saturday morning. Our S4K Toddler Rugby and S4K Rugby Cubs will hone their conversion kicks and tune-up their tries!  

Our toddler rugby classes for ages of 18 months – 3 years and our kids rugby, Cubs Rugby classes for 3 – 5 years old, combine fun, entertainment and imagination with Rugby skills. Turning skills learning and drills into fun games and activities! 

Sport4Kids Network Partner Charlie Hodgson said “In my role as Head of the Rugby nationally for Sport4Kids I love the remit I’ve been given to make our rugby classes unique and entertaining. I remember, as a child and teenager, doing loads of boring set drills in cold, wet weather. We put up with it because that was a requirement if we wanted to be selected for the team: it was a means an end rather than a joy of itself. At S4K Rugby we want children to feel like they’re at a birthday party every time they join us for a weekend skills class so they develop a love of learning the micro-motor and technical skills that will stand them in good stead for competitive play. I’ve played rugby for a long time since I was seven years old (there was nothing like S4K available to get started at 18 months) and I believe passionately in the ability of sports to deliver physical and mental health benefits. Throughout my life, rugby has provided exercise, an incentive to keep fit, competition, camaraderie and community. I’m on a personal mission to give as many children as possible a start in sports, through rugby and the whole range of sports and activities that S4K offers.”

The classes at Edgbarrow School Sports Complex will take place every Sunday morning and be available for the following age groups…

S4K Toddler Rugby (18m to 3 years) – 10.40-11.25am
S4K Cubs Rugby (3 to 5 years) – 11.30-12.15am
