While we cannot offer everyone a place for our February half-term camps, we are still working hard to be able to run camps at or near our current camp venues for Critical Worker children and Vulnerable children.
We are still waiting on more information from each of our camp venues but wanted to reach out and let you know we are doing all that we can to be able to help you during the upcoming holiday period.
PLEASE CONTACT US
If you are a CRITICAL WORKER or have VULNERABLE children and are in need of care for your children during the February half-term (15th-19th February), please contact us and we will make sure to contact you as soon as we have more information.
GOVERNMENT INFORMATION
Please see below for key points of information from the Government Website.
For the duration of the national lockdown, out-of-school settings should only offer face-to-face provision for:
- Children of critical workers, where it is reasonably necessary to support their parents or carers to work, seek work, attend a medical appointment, or undertake education or training
- Vulnerable children and young people
There is a list available outlining Children of critical workers and vulnerable children who can access schools or educational settings.
Providers who offer face-to-face provision for the eligible children during the national lockdown should continue to follow the protective measures as outlined in the DfE guidance (below). These are largely consistent with what we have already been doing, but given that there is likely to be fewer numbers of children in settings if providers do choose to open, the DfE have made it permissive for one member of staff to supervise up to two, small consistent groups of children if this is necessary.
