Welcome to our Toddler & Kids Football Sessions at S4K! Our Football Programme takes methods from the three main coaching philosophies from across the world, and combines them to make the ultimate football class! We focus on developing children’s mini & micro motor skills throughout each session, tailoring each class to the age and ability of the children.

*Try us out for just £2! After your first taster session, a monthly subscription of £38.95 will automatically begin, giving you access to all sessions and our APP to track your child’s progress. If you decide it’s not right for your child, you can opt out at any time. To avoid the subscription charge, make sure to cancel within 2 days after the trial session. Once subscribed, you can cancel with two weeks’ notice. (full terms and conditions available here). When you subscribe, you will also be charged a one off membership fee – this covers your access to the development App and a free sports kit for your child.

Toddlers are able to join in almost as soon as they can walk, run and listen to instructions and have fun in a collective group setting. Parents take part in the class at all times with their child, as our S4K Coaches get to know all of the toddlers and help them learn new skills and activities. Over time, our TOTS become more independent and take part in the class with less assistance from mum and dad.
Kickers’ talent is harnessed via dribbling drills and striking of the ball. In addition, child interaction and cooperation is actively encouraged as our coaches seek to stimulate greater social skills. Communication is encouraged as Kickers are taught to ask their peers to “pass the ball” and form an overall collective team spirit, achieved through cheering on their peers as they take turns to compete in small sided exercises.
Strikers experience a rapid development in their skills and maturity as sports players and team members. They get to combine and hone their skills in exciting games and activities that help them develop their touch, sense of space, movement and their positions on the pitch. They learn to defend, attack, pass and move in small sided games.

The S4K App is revolutionary in the world of children sport. With the S4K app, your child can practice a new skill from home every month with our Skill of The Month Practice@Home videos. You can also track your Childs progression through their classes with the use of our progression pathway, these are marked off by your coaches each week. Of course! We believe that it is vitally important that you are able to see whether the Sport4Kids activities are for you and your child. The taster session is designed to allow you to see what Sport4Kids activities have to offer. However, we do emphasise that a child may need more than one session in order to make the most of their time with us and only expect around 30% participation for the first lesson. Most children will not have participated in instructor led activities prior to their visit and this can take time to get used to. After your initial taster session, our experienced coaching team will be able answer any questions that you may have and offer advice on your child’s experience.
Our classes cost £40.95 every month. This is taken out of your account at the beginning of the month. There is a £25.00 one-off membership fee when joining Sport4Kids, which includes full football kit and access to our S4K App.
All of our venues have indoor facilities and most also have outdoor facilities. Our S4K Strikers and above may play outside at certain venues, but this will be detailed on each specific venue webpage. During the Autumn, Winter and early Spring months, classes are held indoors, but when the opportunity arises in the Summer, we endevour to take the S4K classes outside.
Sport4Kids coaches are truly special. It takes 4 months and 24 examinations to move past the trainee level of coach. Coaches graduate through our Coaching Development Pathway, which involves technical coaching, child behaviour management, child psychology and safeguarding. All coaches are DBS checked and extremely passionate about what they do too!
Our classes do not stop for half-term or the summer holidays so we are always on hand to entertain your children. As a rule, it is generally safe to assume that we are operating. We will of course communicate with you if there are any planned or last minute changes.
