We advance our children’s skills here, learning drag backs, step overs and turns while on a superhero or wizarding adventure. Kickers are noisy, energetic and score a lots of goals on their left and right feet. More info…
Skills are taught under graded levels of pressure, allowing children to learn at their own pace. Precision and ball mastery are the aims and kids participate in small sided games, the S4K Tournament and the S4K Football Club, playing in local FA leagues. More info…
Frequently Asked Questions
Naturally you will have questions about registering your child for a new activity. Here are some of our most common FAQs, but you can also access the full set by clicking here.
Of course! We believe that it is vitally important that you are able to see whether the Sport4Kids activities are for you and your child. The trial session is designed to allow you to see what Sport4Kids activities have to offer. However, we do emphasise that a child may need more than one session in order to make the most of their time with us and only expect around 30% participation for the first lesson. Most children will not have participated in instructor led activities prior to their visit and this can take time to get used to. After your initial trial session, our experienced coaching team will be able answer any questions that you may have and offer advice on your child’s experience. Click here to select your nearest venue and book your free session.
All of our venues have indoor facilities and most also have outdoor facilities. Our S4K Strikers and above may play outside at certain venues, but this will be detailed on each specific venue webpage. During the Autumn, Winter and early Spring months, classes are held indoors, but when the opportunity arises in the Summer, we endevour to take the S4K classes outside.
Sport4Kids coaches are truly special. It takes 4 months and 24 examinations to move past the trainee level of coach. Coaches graduate through our Coaching Development Pathway, which involves technical coaching, child behaviour management, child psychology and safeguarding. All coaches are DBS checked and extremely passionate about what they do too!
Our classes do not stop for half-term or the summer holidays so we are always on hand to entertain your children. As a rule, it is generally safe to assume that we are operating. We will of course communicate with you if there are any planned or last minute changes.
As children reach the age of 6 years, they are able to take part in the non-profit S4K Football Club and play against local league sides in FA registered leagues and tournaments. This allows them to pit their skills against the best oppositions in the area. Click here to read more about S4K FC.
Our classes cost £38.95 for all classes in the month. There is also a one-off membership fee of £25 which covers the kit and access to the APP.
S4K Tournament
Our S4K Tournament provides our S4K Strikers and Academy age groups with their first introduction to competitive tournament football. The clubs lock horns while cheered on from family and friends from the sidelines in a carefully crafted introduction to tournament football.
The next S4K Tournament will be announced soon!
S4K Football Club
The S4K Tigers are part of the S4K Football Club, which takes part in local FA registered leagues and tournaments. Parents are invited to get involved and train to be part of our Match Day teams and qualify through the S4K Team Coach accreditation. Players are able to join S4K Tigers from the age of 6 years. Player assessment and progression monitoring via our S4K Academy program is part of the club. Click here for more information on S4K Tigers and find out how your child can be part of the team.
